Air - Speedflight
General Control Tips below ! Controller is recommended for optimal flight!
Mouse is also recommended for menu navigation, controller menu controls aren't really implemented yet
- Controller sometimes doesn't work if the game isn't in Fullscreen !
Try clicking inside the game's window or putting the game in Fullscreen if you're having problems !
Take off into the skies !
And fly as far as possible !

► IMPORTANT : You can also launch yourself during flight with
[S] + [Spacebar] as you're flying above an island ! (more information below in -Boosting- !)
- Flying -
Fly through up to three different areas !
[WASD] Movement ! (or LStick)
Use [A] and [D] to tip towards the left or right, press [A] + [S] to slow down !
The dragon flies forwards by itself, no need to hold [W] during flight !
- Dashing -
Weave around obstacles by timing your dashes !

[WASD] + [Spacebar] ! or LStick + (A)
Dash in any direction up to three times in a row ! Don't crash !
- Boosting-
Gain insane amounts of speed !

[S] + [Spacebar] or (LStick ↓) + (A)
Boost your speed by launching yourself off of islands !
(You have to let go of [A] and [D] when trying to Boost yourself off an island !)
This is the first game i've ever made so i hope you will enjoy it !
Fly fast, and have fun!
(did tons of experimenting with godot over the span of a few years but never managed to actually get to finishing a playable game ! Until now :3)
| CONTROLS TLDR : | [SPACE] (A) To Take-Off ! | [SPACE] + [S] [LStick down] + (A) to Boost off islands ! |
| [WASD] [LStick] To move ! | [WASD] + [Spacebar] [LStick] in any direction ] + (A) to dash around |
You can pause the game at any time with [TAB] or [START]. Don't forget to take breathers ! Breathers are important.
(if you're experiencing lag on your end, try checking if you can turn hardware acceleration on in your internet browser!) (no downloadable windows/linux builds because i'm a dumdum that can't remember to submit the right files to itch.io)

THERES SO MANY TREES AND SHIPS AHHHH!
Pretty fun and interesting game, I like the art and sound design, and the isometric perspective. Only thing I think could use improvement is that I often accidentally dashed downwards when I meant to use an island for a speed boost, and maybe something like coins to collect through the air could be something worth thinking about, but overall a pretty decent game.
I hade some trouble boosting off islands with [space + s] since I sometimes flapped to the side and back instead, but I really love the feeling of soaring just above the waves with way more speed than I am able to react with.
Yeah, the boosting off of islands is a really tricky mechanic to actually find an intuitive keybind for surprisingly enough!
(Basically if you press any other keys when trying to dash, the game will default to putting you into a dashing state instead of boosting you)
I ended up settling for just pressing [S] + [Space] without anything else since it seemed like the most appropriate way to not mess up the potential dashing angles you can use AND being accessible enough to reach on reaction.
Keeping the number of total buttons you have to use low is definitely (i feel like) very important for any game's ease-of-use ^^
Boosting your speed to a stupidly fast level and just crashing immediately into the first boat/tree that comes your way feels so silly currently though...
Hey, its a pretty good game, will there be any downloads for windows or linux aside from the browser version?
Yup ! I was originally planning to add both but somehow forgot to add them to my entry before the game-jam ended -_-
Will definitely add downloads for each platform once the jam is over !
Alright, thank you!
